Ikonografija romaničke katedrale u Dubrovniku

Abstract

Romanička katedrala u Dubrovniku nalazila se na mjestu starije bizantske crkve. Stradala je u potresu 1667. godine. Potom je nad ostacima romaničke izgrađena barokna bazilika. O prostornim prikazima one romaničke na slikama i reljefima Grada nastalima prije “Velike trešnje” pisala je M. Rajković već 1949. godine, a o prikazima Dubrovnika općenito u slikarstvu, gdje je vidljiva i katedrala u vremenima prije katastrofalnog potresa, pisala je V. Gjukić-Bender 1999. godine. Međutim, stvarne ostatke te bazilike otkrio je tek J. Stošić osamdesetih godina 20. stoljeća. Tada je stečena vjerodostojna spoznaja plana bazilike te raspored njenih konstruktivnih i arhitektonskih elemanata na razini tlocrta. Autor ovog rada prožima podatke iz stvarnih ostataka katedrale s onima na njenim prikazima u povijesti nastalim prije “Velike trešnje”. Pozornost poklanja bazilici zabilježenoj na crtežu Dubrovnika iz 1486. godine Konrada von Grünemberga iz Konstanza, dokumentu koji nije bio poznat sredinom prošloga stoljeća, a u velikoj mjeri potvrđuje izgled katedrale zabilježene na nešto starijem modelu Grada u ruci lika Sv. Vlaha na srebrenom reljefu “parca” iz sredine 15. stoljeća. Važni su i opisi katedrale: onaj iz 1440. godine Lukanca Filipa de Diversisa, te onaj iz 1494. godine Milanca Pietra Casole, a uz njih svakako i prikaz crkve na modelu Grada u ruci Sv. Vlaha na slici s njegovim likom, djelu slikara Lovre Dobričevića iz druge polovine 15. stoljeća, zatim začelje katedrale prikazano na sličnom modelu u rukama “parca” na triptihu slikara Nikole Božidarevića, djelu nastalom oko 1500. godine, te bočni zid i začelje naslikano na modelu Grada u rukama Sv. Vlaha na triptihu s Lapada slikara Pietra di Giovannia.
