El titular clickbait se caracteriza por su carácter manipulador de la voluntad del lector que, intrigado por un mensaje desconcertante, apelativo, incompleto o sugerente, accede a la información que se despliega tras el clic. Desde el punto de vista formal, estos titulares presentan una configuración lingüístico-discursiva singular que los caracteriza y con la que se alcanza su objetivo pragmático, su eficacia comunicativa. En este trabajo se pone el foco en el análisis de las clases de palabras que selecciona el emisor para la construcción de los clickbaits porque consideramos que, de su correcta selección, dependerá el éxito de estos mensajes.
