Em tempos de neocolonialismo: Escola sem partido ou Escola partida?

Abstract

Neste artigo temos como objetivo discutir as perspectivas e projeções do Escola sem Partido (EsP), movimento que surge no Brasil em 2004 e ganha força no contexto das ofensivas conservadoras mais recentes e afirma ter como pauta principal uma “educação sem doutrinação”, além de defender um modelo de escola que se caracteriza por ser “sem partido”. Embasamos nossas reflexões na Pedagogia decolonial (Oliveira, 2016; Walsh, 2009) uma vez que entendemos o movimento EsP como um novo modo de colonizar as nossas escolas, com ideias que voltariam a servir aos interesses de grupos que bastante se aproximam daqueles que foram e ainda são beneficiados pela boa educação desde a época da colonização. Também lançamos mão da noção de sociedade disciplinar de Foucault (1982, 2004) para refletir sobre os mecanismos de controle sobre o trabalho docente propostos pelo EsP. Fazemos breve percurso sobre diferentes contextos históricos da escola no Brasil, sublinhando a indissociabilidade entre poder, política e educação. Nossas análises apontam que as forças conservadoras ligadas a projetos neoliberais têm empreendido verdadeiro ataque à educação pública pondo em risco conquistas populares e o esvaziamento do sentido efetivo de democracia no âmbito escolar.
