Abstract

[EN] This thesis attempts to reach a model in the future, homeostatic plasticity in toto or in vivo, useful for therapeutic solutions, which seek to improve the ability of spontaneous recovery, reaching homeostatic equilibrium points, not only of nerve cells at the individual, but also the neural circuits and networks. In this study we raised induce a strong imbalance of signals, by unilateral removal of the downward projection from the auditory cortex to the inferior colliculus.
