Argumentación y manejo de la imagen en publicidad institucional. La DGT

Abstract

En el año 2007 la DGT comienza una serie de campañas publicitarias con características que las diferenciaban de lo que se había observado hasta la fecha en ese tipo de publicidad. La parte gráfica perdía su protagonismo casi por completo, dejando paso a la fuerza de la palabra, con la que, aparentemente, se llega a dañar la imagen del receptor. En este artículo tratamos de mostrar cómo la DGT emplea con notable éxito el manejo de las diferentes imágenes en juego, logrando rentabilizar el ataque al receptor para lograr sus objetivos: el acercamiento al de la institución al receptor y la toma de conciencia y responsabilidad de este. Para ello hemos analizado el corpus desde una perspectiva lingüístico pragmática, tomando en cuenta la argumentación así como cuestiones relativas a la cortesía.
