Herringbone Patterned Laser-Induced Periodic Surface Structures (LIPSS)

Abstract

Herringbone patterned laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPSS) are observed on Cu using a femtosecond laser. We find the ideal experimental conditions for producing herringbone structures.
