</script>Several recent publications (1–3) in the area of quality indicators in endoscopy have influenced endoscopists to continuously assess their practice. Although many specialist societies have specific credentialing requirements for training and ongoing cognitive assessment (4–7), the performance of the technical aspect of endoscopic procedures has been one area for which specific criteria have been difficult to develop.
