Abstract(β‐Ca3(PO4)2, α‐Sr3(PO4)2, α‐Ba3(PO4)2, Ba2.85Mg0.15(PO4)2, and M2.55Mg0.45(PO4)2 with M: Ca, Sr) is studied down to 4.2 K. The luminescence of the tin‐activated orthophosphates is explained by assuming the presence of two different Sn2+ centers in the lattices.
