Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of pavement and MATLAB simulation

Abstract

This paper presents a evaluation method of the highway pavement performance. The highway pavement performance is affected by a variety of factors, the evaluations of which are subjective at the same time. Therefore, we propose a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, which can enable it that comprehensive evaluation of multiple factors is feasible. According to the highway pavement performance evaluation situation, a method based on MATLAB - FIS of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is presented for the national highway, which expounds the basic thought of the comprehensive evaluation method, chooses four major indexes influencing the pavement performance to be the evaluation factors, determines the membership functions and the fuzzy rules, establishes a model based on MATLAB - FIS of the fuzzy comprehensive assessment and evaluates the inspection data of Inner Mongolia highway asphalt pavement. Finally, we obtain the satisfactory results. Meanwhile, the calculation results of instances are in conformity with the analysis results of the PSI, MCI Model.
