AHP under the Intuitionistic Fuzzy environment

Abstract

This piece of study has done a serious of work as following. Firstly, it has discussed the method toward Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFS) approximate to Fuzzy Sets(FS) and the related properties, which is based on the relationships between IFS and FS. Secondly, the author also studied the Intuitionistic fuzzy complementary judgment matrix (IFCJM) approximates to the fuzzy complementary judgment matrix (FCJM), according to the basic consideration refer to the hesitation degree of IFS. Moreover, regarding to the iteration process of the consistency adjustment of the FCJM, the form of IFCJM has been given within the iteration process via the FCJM, therefore as a result, it has demonstrated that the consistency adjustment of both IFCJM and FCJM are equal. Finally, it has not only applied the fuzzy approximation into the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), but also discussed the IFCJM-based AHP method.
