Fault-tolerant control or reconfigurable control systems are generally based on a nominal control law associated to a fault detection and isolation module. A general review of techniques dealing with this problem is given and a new fault-tolerant control approach is described. This method is based on the online estimation of an eventual fault and the addition of a new control law to the nominal one in order to reduce the fault effect. It does not require any fault detection and isolation algorithm.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 8 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
