The properties and use of stochastic operators as a unifying method of dealing with some difficult problems are investigated to gain further insight into the physical interpretation of the theory in some general physical processes. Derivation and interpretation of a stochastic Green's function is outlined, as is treatment of various processes. Evaluation of a stochastic Green's function for a differential operator is also treated. (D.C.W.)
