
We demonstrate numerically for (i) a /sup 4/He monolayer at areal density 0.035 A/sup -2/, and (ii) neutron star matter at density 1 fm/sup -3/, that optimizing the Jastrow function by means of paired-phonon analysis is both accurate and efficient. (AIP)
