Its not the location location location but communication communication communication! Or is it? In this issue we focus on unique ways to enhance involvement of adolescents in decision-making regarding reproductive health contraception. Credit goes to Dr. Mary Short and colleagues. Indeed it is one of our responsibilities as health care providers for adolescents to be proactive and available to address the challenging topic of teen-parent communication. I want to draw your attention to a most interesting and unique source that I have come upon. Now imagine for a moment two teens talking to each other and lamenting; the wall has been erected the dialogue non-existent there is just plain failure to communicate as they are addressing the teen-parent relationship. This is my vision of the way two astute teens sat down one day and decided there is indeed a need to write a book from the teens perspective. So Lara Fox and Hilary Frankel accepted the task as they now have published the book Breaking the Code. (excerpt)
