Choledochal cyst is an uncommon condition and its exact etiology is unknown. Anamalous junction of the pancreatic and bile ducts is recently recognised to be associated with pancreatico-biliary reflux responsible for cholengitis and dilatation. Excision is preferred to internal drainage.
