Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) is an extension of conventional Rough Set Theory. The conventional approach does not take into consideration the dominance relation among the objects while considering the universe. DRSA, on the other hand, considers this relation as well and thus takes RST a step ahead. In this chapter, we will consider some preliminaries of DRSA.
