Abstract

Die Urticaria pigmentosa ist eine urtikarielle Erkrankung, welche unmittelbar nach der Geburt oder spatestens im ersten Lebensjahre beginnt und die von der Urticaria cum pigmentatione streng zu scheiden ist (s. Urticaria). In einzelnen Fallen ist sogar intrauteriner Beginn beschrieben worden. Die Erkrankung beginnt mit lebhaft roten urtikariellen Herden von rundlicher, manchmal unregelmasiger Form, die aber nicht fluchtiger Natur sind, bald braunrot bis sepiabraun oder gelblich-braun werden, lange Zeit bestehen bleiben und der Haut ein eigenartiges geschecktes oder getigertes Aussehen verleihen. Manchmal erscheinen die Effloreszenzen als braune, quaddelartige Erhebungen, die beetartig oder auch strichformig angeordnet einen leicht geschwulstartigen Charakter zeigen. Die Herde sitzen am Rumpf, Kopf, Extremitaten und Gesicht. Ein Teil der Kinder zeigt das Symptom der Urticaria factitia und auch sonst Neigung zu erythematosen und urtikariellen Erscheinungen. Auch wenn von rein urticariellen Effloreszenzen zur Zeit nichts zu sehen ist, kann man durch Reiben ein typisches, quaddelartiges Hervortreten der pigmentierten Herde anregen. Die Erkrankung ist verhaltnismasig selten. Die Eruptionen konnen sich namentlich im ersten Jahre haufig wiederholen; gegen das 20. Jahr horen sie allmahlich auf, nur selten gehen sie bis ins dritte Dezennium hinuber. Als Komplikation wurde Asthma beobachtet; in der Regel ist das Allgemeinbefinden und das Gedeihen vollig ungestort.
