Abstract

AbstractInterleaved spiral scanning of k‐space is an efficient and fast method for imaging dynamic processes. In this article, a cine version of interleaved spiral imaging is presented. The method is shown to overcome the “lightning‐flash” artifacts of the conventional triggered (gated) method. Compared with the segmented k‐space 2DFT method, it achieves better temporal resolution in a comparable or shorter scan time. Preliminary human studies show that the method is a promising tool for imaging dynamic processes.
