Abstract

Tidur adalah proses biologis yang penting untuk menjaga kesehatan fisik dan mental. Kualitas tidur yang buruk dapat memengaruhi berbagai sistem tubuh, termasuk proses hematopoiesis, yaitu pembentukan sel darah merah yang berperan dalam membawa oksigen melalui hemoglobin. Mahasiswa, khususnya pada tingkat pendidikan tinggi, merupakan kelompok yang rentan mengalami gangguan tidur akibat tekanan akademik, pola hidup tidak teratur, serta kebiasaan begadang. Kondisi ini dapat berdampak pada penurunan kadar hemoglobin, yang dalam jangka panjang bisa menyebabkan kelelahan, penurunan konsentrasi, dan risiko anemia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas tidur terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada mahasiswa D4 Teknologi Laboratorium Medis Universitas 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sebanyak 34 mahasiswa dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Kualitas tidur dinilai menggunakan kuesioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), sedangkan kadar hemoglobin diperiksa menggunakan alat hematology analyzer. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Independent Sample T-Test setelah data dinyatakan berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas responden memiliki kualitas tidur buruk, namun kadar hemoglobin tetap berada pada kategori normal. Nilai signifikansi Independent Sample T-Test sebesar 0,819 (p > 0,05) menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan kadar hemoglobin yang signifikan antara kelompok tidur baik dan buruk. Kesimpulannya, kualitas tidur tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada mahasiswa dalam penelitian ini.
