The article reveals the public activity of Kyrik Trylovsky, which was aimed at the popularization of the «Sich» society and the spread of its branches in Galicia and beyond. XIX - beginning 20th century The statute of the «Sich» company was analyzed, the goal of the activity was named, and the methods of achieving the goal were revealed. It was emphasized that the priority areas of work of «Sichey» were the popularization of physical exercises among the population, participation in various athletic competitions, as well as the implementation of cultural and educational activities. The structure of the organization of the company is characterized. It is noted that the highest governing body of the company was the General Assembly, which was convened once a year. It was emphasized that any member of the organization could take the floor and bring up important and relevant issues for consideration, and also had the right to elect and be elected to the foreman. Important issues were discussed at the meetings of the Cossack elders (which included the koshovy, osavul, obozny, scribe, treasurer and chotari), which took place once a month. Emphasis is placed on the creation of a so-called «court of peace» in the structure of the society to settle possible disputes between foremen and members of the society. The reasons for the slow spread of «Siche» in the territory of Halychyna were determined, and the methods of popularizing the association among the local population of the region were revealed. Among them, the publication of association statutes, magazines, and the organization of January holidays by each branch occupy a prominent place. It is noted that the activities of the societies were also aimed at purchasing the necessary equipment, organizing public gymnastic performances, vocal and declamation performances, dances, entertainments, holidays, as well as maintaining reading rooms, libraries, circles for the illiterate, a choir, and an orchestra. It is emphasized that K. Trilovsky paid special attention to the involvement of young people in the activities of «Sich», which eventually became the impetus for the creation of youth centers of the «Young Sich» society. The organization considered the main task of this activity to be the rise of the Ukrainian national movement and national consciousness among students. It has been proven that the number of branches of the «Sich» society at the beginning of the 20th century. increased, spreading also on the territory of Bukovyna. It is indicated that it was the «Sich» society that gave the impetus to the creation of the «Sich Riflemen» organization.

У статті розкривається державотворча діяльність Кирила Трильовського, яка була направлена на популяризацію товариства «Січ» та поширення її осередків у Галичині та за її межами кін. ХІХ - поч. ХХ ст. Проаналізовано статут товариства «Січ», названо мету діяльності та розкрито способи досягнення мети. Наголошено, що пріоритетними напрямками роботи «Січей» були популяризація серед населення заняття фізичними вправами, участь у різноманітних атлетичних змаганнях, а та­кож здійснення культурно-просвітницької діяльності. Охарактеризовано структуру організації това­риства. Зазначено, що найвищим керівним органом товариства були Загальні збори, які скликалися раз на рік. Наголошено, що будь-який член організації міг брати слово і виносити на розгляд важ­ливі й актуальні питання, а також мав право обирати і бути обраним до складу старшини. Важливі питання розглядалися на засіданнях козацької старшини (до якої належали кошовий, осавул, обоз­ний, писар, скарбник і чотарі), які відбувалися раз на місяць. Акцентовано на створенні у структурі товариства так званого «мирового суду» для урегулювання можливих суперечок між старшинами та членами товариства. Визначено причини повільного поширення «Січей» на теренах Галичини та розкрито способи популяризації товариства серед місцевого населення краю. З-поміж них, чільне місце посідають видання статутів товариства, часописів та організація січових свят кожним осеред­ком. Зазначено, що діяльність товариств також спрямовувалася на закупівлю необхідного споря­дження, влаштування публічних гімнастичних виступів, вокальних, декламаторських вистав, тан­ців, забав, свят, а також утримання читалень, бібліотек, гуртків для неписьменних, хору, оркестру. Акцентовано на тому, що К. Трильовський особливу увагу приділяв залученню молоді до участі в діяльності «Січей», що стало з часом поштовхом до створення молодіжних осередків товариства «Молода Січ». Основним завданням цієї діяльності організація вважала піднесення українського національного руху та національної свідомості серед учнів. Доведено, що чисельність осередків товариства «Січ» на початку ХХ ст. збільшувалася, поширюючись і на теренах Буковини. Вказано, що саме товариство «Січ» дало поштовх до створення організації Січових Стрільців.
