Introduction. The conditions for countering armed aggression, the expansion of international contacts and the intensification of military cooperation between Ukraine and other countries, the active participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in operations to maintain peace and security, as well as the orientation towards NATO standards in the process of training troops, actualize the problem of language training of cadets of higher military educational institution. Globalization processes endow information with the attributes of an attribute on which the effectiveness of the functioning of modern society largely depends, and the experience of current military conflicts indicates the growing role of information warfare, which distinguishes an active strategic nature, the absence of restrictions for distribution in time and space, which indicates the need for high military - political awareness of the country and highly professional speech training of military personnel [6]. The need for a thorough analysis of foreign experience, modern, progressive international views on the process under study, as well as the use of integrated approaches and innovative methods that increase the ability of cadets' motivational resources. The cooperation of Ukraine in this direction with the military departments of the progressive countries of the world is currently an obligatory component of international cooperation and enhances the prospect of strengthening the national security and the defence of Ukraine. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyse the best foreign experience in organizing language training with the prospect of further implementation of key provisions in the domestic practice of professional training of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to improve the quality of their speech competence. Methods. At different stages of scientific research, the following research methods were used: theoretical (analysis and comparison of sources on the problem under study) and empirical. Results. It should be noted that, despite the variety of forms, options and methods for organizing language training in the armies of foreign states, primarily members of the Alliance, the interoperability of national military contingents in the course of performing tasks requiring international participation still raises the military-political the leadership of the language barrier as the main obstacle, which also reinforces the need to find new ways to organize and / or improve the process of teaching foreign languages in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Originality. There is no people without language. Language is a definite “identifier” of a nation even in a globalized world. Through it, respect for their people, their history and culture is instilled, the foundations of the integral inner world of the individual, its national self-education, and people's worldview are laid. These processes are not permanent and cannot end at a certain stage of education. But the issues of language education should be paid attention to throughout life. Conclusion. The implementation of a standardized approach to improving the level of knowledge of a foreign language indicates that a serviceman, applying for participation in an international project, for appointment to a certain post in NATO military structures or professional development within the framework of international projects, must have the appropriate SLP (in accordance with the requirements of NATO STANAG). At the same time, the tasks of language training in each of the NATO member countries are now being solved in different ways.

В статье обоснована актуальность сотрудничества Вооруженных Сил Украины по языковой подготовке с ведущими зарубежными военными ведомствами и установлена ​​ее роль в укреплении национальной безопасности и обороны Украины. Обобщено, что в настоящее время в Вооруженных Силах Украины сформирована эффективная система языковой подготовки, обеспечивающая непрерывное изучение курсантами высших военных учебных заведений иностранных языков на всех этапах подготовки и в процессе выполнения профессиональных обязанностей. Предложен анализ последних тематических исследований и публикаций. Охарактеризованы особенности реализации принципа непрерывной языковой подготовки как составляющей обучения военнослужащих в соответствии с образовательными программами США, Великобритании, Канады, Австралии, Австрии и Венгрии. Проанализирован уровень обеспечения специалистами с надлежащей языковой подготовкой силовых структур изучаемых стран, установлены ведущие направления деятельности центров изучения иностранных языков, приведен перечень языков, недостаточный уровень знания которых препятствует своевременной обработке оперативной информации. Обобщены ведущие учебные заведения стран, обеспечивающие языковую подготовку представителей разных видов вооруженных сил. Отдельным предметом анализа языковой подготовки военнослужащих избраны: целевая аудитория, количество слушателей, форма обучения, продолжительность курсов, преподавательский состав, методическое и техническое обеспечение. Приведены приоритетные направления повышения качества языковой подготовки согласно планам руководства вооруженных сил Великобритании, которые могут служить перспективными векторами развития для военного образования.

У статті обґрунтовано актуальність співпраці Збройних Сил України щодо мовної підготовки з провідними закордонними військовими відомствами й встановлено її роль в зміцненні національної безпеки та оборони України. Узагальнено, що нині у Збройних Силах України сформована ефективна система мовної підготовки, котра забезпечує неперервне вивчення курсантами вищих військових навчальних закладів іноземних мов на всіх етапах підготовки та в процесі виконання професійних обов’язків. Запропоновано аналіз останніх тематичних досліджень і публікацій. Схарактеризовано особливості реалізації принципу неперервної мовної підготовки як складової навчання військовослужбовців відповідно до освітніх програм США, Великобританії, Канади, Австралії, Австрії та Угорщини. Проаналізовано рівень забезпечення фахівцями з належною мовною підготовкою силових структур досліджуваних країн, встановлено провідні напрями діяльності центрів вивчення іноземних мов, наведено перелік мов, недостатній рівень знання яких перешкоджає своєчасному опрацюванню оперативної інформації. Узагальнено провідні заклади освіти країн, що забезпечують мовну підготовку представників різних видів збройних сил. Окремим предметом аналізу мовної підготовки військовослужбовців обрано: цільову аудиторію, кількість слухачів, форму навчання, тривалість курсів, викладацький склад, методичне та технічне забезпечення. Наведено пріоритетні напрями підвищення якості мовної підготовки згідно з планами керівництва збройних сил Великобританії, що можуть слугувати перспективними векторами розвитку для вітчизняної військової освіти.
