Ontological engineering problems solution based on content monitoring technology

Abstract

The article concerns the use of content monitoring technology of Internet resources for ontology clarifying and updating of given PrO. The ontology “Wireless Internet in Ukraine”, which is constantly updating and is used to solve the problem of choosing of the optimal tariff and internet service provider (ISP), was developed. A generic algorithm of the problem solution was designed. It includes following steps: designing of a general ontology, which represents all existing technologies of wireless Internet; Internet service providers; services and their characteristics; tracing and identification of information updating about services and tariffs of Internet service providers; updating of existing ontology; SWRLrules making; comparison of tariffs on the basis of parameters selected with SWRL-rules and detection of the most advantageous offer for the wireless Internet market. Test examples of the results of the algorithm application, using SWRL-rules and SPARQL-queries, are given.

Рассмотривается применение технологии контент-мониторинга Интернет-ресурсов для уточнения и пополнения онтологии заданной ПрО. Разработана онтология «Беспроводной Интернет в Украине», которая постоянно обновляется и используется для решения задачи выбора оптимального тарифа и Интернет—провайдера.

Розглядається застосування технології контент-моніторингу Інтернет-ресурсів для уточнення та поповнення онтології заданої ПрО. Розроблено онтологію «Бездротовий Інтернет в Україні», яка постійно оновлюється й використовується для вирішення задачі вибору оптимального тарифу та Інтернет-провайдера.
