Abstract
This study aims to demonstrate that short-term memory and various nutritional/resting aspects play a major role in the teaching-learning process, being directly correlated with academic performance. To demonstrate this relationship, we assessed memory, academic performance and nutritional/rest habits. To this end, we carried out a test extracted from the WISC-IV battery, and another test we constructed, based on a list of words. This allowed us to measure the memory convergently, and to test, by plotting a curve, the primacy and recency effects.
