Abstract

The change of the educational paradigm focuses on a new understanding of the essence of the independent work of students as the main for the development of subjectivity in the productive personal and professional self-actualization and self-realization of students by transitioning from the format of the teaching to the format learning. The use of innovative didactic technologies allows to predict qualitatively new results of higher education in the situation of freedom and responsibility of students' choice. The possibility of purposeful application of advanced tasks, development of students' educational cases as a kind of independent creative work. An innovative variant of self-assessment and self-assessment of students' independent work is proposed on the basis of criterial thinking for creative development of the personality, creating a situation of success in teaching, assertive behavior in education and in life. The concrete results of the practice of developing education in higher education are analyzed, allowing to monitor the existential dimension of students' independent work. Attention of teachers to the possibility of professional pedagogical stagnation and marginalism in the absence of critical attitude to the results of interaction with students in the organization, execution and evaluation of the results of free choice of content and forms of independent work of students.
