Abstract

В статье исследуется политика Османской империи в отношении России в период правления Сулеймана I. В центре внимания автора целый ряд дискуссионных вопросов истории российско-турецких отношений. Автор приходит к выводу о том, что после опричного переворота изменение курса Турции в отношении России на враждебный не было окончательным.

The article examines the policy of the Ottoman Empire in relation to Russia during the reign Suleiman I. The author focuses on a number of issues in the history of Russian-Turkish relations. The author comes to conclusion that after the oprichnina coup the change in Turkey’s policy towards Russia against the hostile was not final.
