Abstract
<jats:p> The present paper report the results of an experimental investigation of the temperature effect on the sliding friction and wear properties of the bulk metallic glass (BMG). To improve the friction and wear properties of the BMG, the disk specimens were developed in the alloy system of Fe <jats:sub>67.6</jats:sub> C <jats:sub>7.1</jats:sub> Si <jats:sub>3.3</jats:sub> B <jats:sub>5.5</jats:sub> P <jats:sub>8.7</jats:sub> Cr <jats:sub>2.3</jats:sub> Mo <jats:sub>2.6</jats:sub> Al <jats:sub>2</jats:sub> Co <jats:sub>1.0</jats:sub> using hot metal and industrial ferro-alloys.
