Depresion en pacientes con alteraciones del tiroides

Abstract
RESUMEN – Nuestro estudio fue realizado en un grupo de 53 mujeres con disfuncion tiroidea y 28 mujeres con depresion mayor. Empleamos la Escala de la Depresion de Hamilton, la Escala de Autoevaluacion de la Depresion de Zung y la Escala sobre la Impresion Clinica Global. Los resultados del estudio demuestran que la mayoria de los pacientes con disfuncion tiroidea se mostraron clinicamente significativos en cuanto al trastorno depresivo. Los episodios depresivos son mas frecuentes en pacientes con hipotiroidismo que en aquellos que presentan hipertiroidismo.
