Abstract
Chemical Engineering deals with separation, chemical reactions and liquefaction of different chemical compounds, for example separation of air into its main components oxygen, nitrogen and argon or cleaning and liquefying of natural gas. Entire Chemical plants or parts of them can be modelled, simulated and also optimized with the help of process simulation tools.
