Abstract
Within the scope of this thesis, the regeneration of zeolite catalysts for isobutane/butene alkylation was systematically investigated by a regeneration method consisting of a catalyst treatment in the liquid phase with dissolved hydrogen. The catalysts used were noble metal containing, rare-earth exchanged faujasite-type zeolites. To study the alkylation reaction and the regeneration of the coked catalysts, a flow-type apparatus comprising a continuous stirred tank reactor was used.
