Abstract
Until the recently years, the Fantastic genre had been an undervalued genre in Mexico when its existence had not be questioned. The apparition of anthologies dedicated to it, the rescue in recent years of writers of unquestionable value for this gender, as well as the rich and varied literary works that are far from the mimetic poetics have played an important role in the change of perspective.
