PERBEDAAN KEKASARAN PERMUKAAN GLASS IONOMER CEMENT MODIFIED RESIN YANG DIPOLES DENGAN TEKNIK PEMOLESAN SATU LANGKAH DAN BEBERAPA LANGKAH

Abstract

Latar belakang : Glass ionomer cement modified resin merupakan salah satu keberhasilan pada modifikasi matriks organik yang terkandung dalam glass ionomer cement . Glass ionomer cement modified resin memiliki nilai kekasaran permukaan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan glass ionomer cement. Faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi kekasaran permukaan adalah jenis bahan poles, kekerasan bahan poles, dan teknik pemolesan. Teknik pemolesan dapat dibagi menjadi dua macam , yaitu pemolesan satu langkah dan beberapa langkah. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah m engetahui perbedaan nilai kekasaran permukaan glass ionomer cement modified resin yang dipoles dengan teknik pemolesan satu langkah dan beberapa langkah. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian posttest stud y . Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 36 sampel berbentuk cakram dengan diameter 6 mm dan ketebalan 2 mm . Sampel dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok perlakuan, k elompok teknik pemolesan satu langkah dan kelompok teknik pemolesan beberapa langkah. Pengukuran keka saran permukaan dilakukan setelah sampel dipoles. Kekasaran permukaan diukur menggunakan surface roughness tester . Hasil : Hasil analisis data dengan uji T independen menunjukkan t erdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat kekasaran permukaan bahan restorasi glass ionomer cement modified resin yang dipoles dengan teknik pemolesan satu langkah dan teknik pemolesan beberapa langkah karena nilai p<0,05. Kata kunci : kekasaran permukaan, glass ionomer cement modified resin , te knik pemolesan satu langkah dan beberapa langkah
