Praktik Green Economy Pada Sektor Perbankan di Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRAK Green economy merupakan sebuah teori dalam ekonomi yang bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan serta keadilan sosial yang secara substansial dapat menurunkan bahaya lingkungan dan juga kesulitan ekologi. Green economy didasarkan pada model ekonomi rendah karbon yang bertujuan untuk mencapai konsumsi dan efisiensi energi rendah, pengurangan polusi dan emisi, serta membantu meningkatkan kesejahteraan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan praktik green economy pada sektor perbankan di Indonesia dalam aspek ekonomi (Financial Inclusion), aspek sosial (Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR) dan aspek lingkungan (Green Banking). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 7 (tujuh) bank konvensional dengan kelengkapan laporan berkelanjutan dari tahun 2013 sampai 2021. Data yang digunakan data sekunder dengan teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktik green economy dalam sektor perbankan diterapkan dalam aspek ekonomi melalui program green financing, aspek sosial melalui kegiatan CSR dan aspek lingkungan melalui program green banking. Kata Kunci: Green Economy, Financial Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, Green Banking, Green Financing
