RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PELACAKAN PADA PENYEWAAN SEPEDA MOTOR MENGGUNAKAN GPS BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS

Abstract

Sepeda motor merupakan salah satu alat transportasi yang banyak dipilih masyarakat untuk transportasi harian. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena motor lebih efektif dan efesien daripada mobil. Akan tetapi, tingkat kehilangan terhadap sepeda motor terus meningkat apalagi terhadapat sepeda motor yang disewakan. Dengan merancang suatu sistem yang dapat memberikan kenyamanan pada penyewa kendaraan dan meningkatkan keamanan dalam membuka usaha penyewaan sepeda motor. Oleh karena itu, dirancang suatu sistem yang dapat memantau posisi keberadaan sepeda motor yang dapat dimonitor melalui aplikasi android. Sepeda motor tersebut akan dipasang sebuah sistem pelacakan menggunakan modul GPS, modul RTC dan mikrokontroller nodemcu. Modul GPS berfungsi menentukan koordinat keberadaan sepeda motor dan ditampilkan pada aplikasi berbasis android dan modul RTC digunakan untuk penjadwalan pengiriman notifikasi berupa pesan kepada penyewa kalau waktu sewa sudah habis. Hasil Tugas Akhir ini yaitu aplikasi android dapat melacak posisi keberadaan sepeda motor dan mempermudah kerja pemilik usaha penyewaan kendaraan sepeda motor.
