The article analyzes the collected data of philological and historical order which explains the origin of the expression ldquo;To live as long as Cheile Bâcului!rdquo; which circulates in the form of folklore in the perimeter of the Ghidighici suburb of Kishinev municipality. The expression has its origins in ancient times and belongs to a geological formation made on a segment of the Bâc River not far from the city of Kishinev, on whose account legends were created and to which personalities like Dimitrie Cantemir, the Swede Weismantel, B.P. Hasdeu, the Bessarabian Zamfir Arbore, the Russian Zașciuk and the Romanian historian Nicolae Densușianu showed interest. According to the erudite scholar B. P. Hasdeu and the Romanian historian Nicolae Densușianu, the formation that bears the name of Cheile Bâcului are the ruins of some human constructions made in Antiquity.

Articolul analizează datele colectate, de ordin filologic și istoric, care explică originea expresiei bdquo;A trăi cât Cheile Bâcului!rdquo; care circulă, în formă de folclor, în perimetrul suburbiei Ghidighici a municipiului Chișinău. Expresia își are originea din cele mai vechi timpuri și ține de o formațiune geologică formată pe un segment al râului Bâc nu departe de orașul Chișinău, pe seama căreia s-au creat legende și față de care și-au manifestat interesul personalități ca la Dimitrie Cantemir, suedezul Weismantel, B.P. Hasdeu, basarabeanul Zamfir Arbore, rusul Zașciuk și istoricul român Nicolae Densușianu. Potrivit eruditului cărturar B.P. Hasdeu și istoricului român Nicolae Densușianu, formațiunea care poartă denumirea de Cheile Bâcului constituie ruinele unor construcții ale oamenilor făcute încă în Antichitate.

В статье анализируются собранные данные филологического и исторического порядка, объясняющие происхождение выражения laquo;Проживёшь сколько Кеиле Быкулуй!raquo; который есть в форме фольклора по периметру пригорода Гидигич муниципия Кишинэу. Выражение берет свое начало в древности и относится к геологическому образованию, образовавшемуся на участке реки Бык недалеко от города Кишинева, о котором были сложены легенды и к которому проявляли интерес такие личности, как Дмитрий Кантемир, швед Вейсмантель, Б.П. Хасдеу, бессарабец Замфир Арборе, русский Защук и румынский историк Николае Денсушяну. По мнению ученого Б.П. Хасдеу и румынского историка Николае Денсушяну, геологическая формация, носящая имя Кеиле Быкулуй, представляет собой руины человеческих построек, построенных еще в древности.
