
The article characterizes the role of research in the field of psychology in the development of modern economic science, describes the appearance of the economics of happiness as an interdisciplinary area of research. The author compares the dynamics of economic indicators and the level of life satisfaction, analyses the significance of the indicators of economic well-being and the level of happiness for the Republic of Moldova.
