Abstract

Рассматриваются факты критической и переводческой рецепции в России поэзии одного из ключевых литераторов английского Возрождения – Эдмунда Спенсера. Через систематизацию и анализ обращений российских поэтов, переводчиков, издателей, критиков в период с середины XIX до начала XXI в. выстраивается целостное представление об истории рецепции поэзии Спенсера, выделяются ключевые тенденции ее освоения. Обозначается проблемное поле исследования отечественной рецепции поэзии английского Возрождения.
