Abstract

В статье освещается история изучения научного наследия выдающегося исследователя Северной и Центральной Азии и общественного деятеля Григория Николаевича Потанина в советский период. Отмечается, что в первые послереволюционные десятилетия не было специальных работ, посвященных изучению научной деятельности Г.Н. Потанина, только после Великой Отечественной войны исследователи вновь стали обращаться к трудам Г.Н. Потанина, обсуждая при этом общественно-политические взгляды ученого.
