Le Huanglongbing, la maladie des agrumes

Abstract

Loin d'être un simple résumé des terribles dégâts causés par le HLB à l'agrumiculture, cette oeuvre originale illustre les efforts de recherche visant à contrecarrer la maladie. Elle aborde dans un langage simple des notions de physiologie, d'anatomie, de génomique, d'entomologie, ou encore de phytopathologie et d'écologie. En dernière partie la BD fait un focus sur les recherches menées par le Cirad et ses partenaires pour relancer une agrumiculture durable dans la zone Caraïbe. Sont notamment évoqués la sélection de nouvelles variétés d'agrumes et de porte-greffe conférant une plus grande tolérance, et l'amélioration de pratiques culturales agroécologiques.
