Abstract

This work is devoted to the integration of the software e-learning platform MOODLE into English language teaching the students of technical specialities. Without doubt, the platform is one of the most actual and effective technologies applied in the organization of English language teaching at technical universities nowadays. Foreign language teaching has been given consideration since recently because after graduating from the university modern engineers are supposed to possess an excellent knowledge of foreign language for specific purposes. Nowadays it is almost impossible to make a successful career in engineering without speaking English. But it is a complex task for non-linguistic students to acquire the knowledge of a foreign language for a very short period of time according to the education program. This problem could be solved by means of software e-learning platform MOODLE.
