
This article discusses the problem of using test technologies in a university in order to assess students' knowledge. The purpose of the article is to justify the possibility and necessity of using test technologies at the university due to the fact that they have a number of advantages: they consist of the required number of verified tests, a description of their implementation and execution are aimed at measuring the level of competence of university students. Attention is drawn to the fact that the development of competencies among university students in the discipline "Russian language and business communication" can be determined using test technologies. Рассматривается проблема использования тестовых технологий с целью оценки знаний студентов. Обосновывается возможность и необходимость применения тестов в вузе в силу того, что они имеют ряд преимуществ: состоят из необходимого количества выверенных заданий, описания их выполнения и оформления, направлены на измерение уровня владения компетенциями обучающимися. Обращается внимание на то, что развитие компетенций у студентов вуза в рамках дисциплины «Русский язык и деловая коммуникация» можно определить при помощи тестовых технологий.
