Abstract

The article presents the results of an empirical study of the psychological readiness for school of older preschool children in the aspect of their interaction with parents, identified significant differences in the level of expression of emotional interaction in the families of girls and boys of older preschool age. As a result of the correlation analysis, the interrelations between the components of psychological readiness for school and the emotional interaction of parents with older preschool children were revealed. We also came to the conclusion that it is necessary to develop and implement a program for the development of components of psychological readiness for school of older preschool children.
