
Общелингвистический взгляд на язык стал зарождаться еще в античности и Средние века, но большую отчетливость он приобрел в универсальных грамматиках Нового времени и В. Гумбольдта. Его своеобразие состоит в том, что в любом языке он видит язык вообще. The general linguistics’ view of the language was originated in the antique and medieval times and evolved in a conspicuous ideology in the universal grammars of the New Time and in the Humboldtian conception. Its key ideological principle holds that any natural language can be viewed as the language in genere.
