Kritisches Denken im betriebswirtschaftlichen Unterricht

Abstract

This paper deals with critical thinking in business education, focusing on the implementation, support, measurement and evaluation of critical thinking. The goal is to gain a better understanding of critical thinking and to provide recommendations for promoting of critical thinking in business education. To achieve this goal, a systematic literature review is conducted to review the current state of knowledge, and an experimental teaching study is conducted at a BHAK/BHAS in Tyrol to gain empirical knowledge. For this study a teaching-learning-setting is developed and tested in two parallel classes of a second grade. Not only the literature but also the results of the experimental teaching study illustrate the promotion of critical thinking in the classroom. The reason for this is that a small number of students in the pre-post comparison achieved an improvement in naming different stakeholders and in providing different pro and con arguments for the identified stakeholder groups.
