Acción de algunos antihelmínticos sobre Angiostrongylus costaricensis

Abstract
Artículo científico -- Universidad de Costa Rica, Instituto de Investigaciones en Salud. 1985 Cotton rats (Sigmodon hispidus) infected with 50L3 of Angiostrongylus costaricensis were treated with thiabendazole, levamisole and diethylcarbamazine; the administration of the drugs was started 40 days after the infection. Several trials were carried out, varying the dose and the duration of the treatment. In all of the cases, first stage larvae appeared 5-6 after treatment.
