Imagen e identidad urbana

Abstract

En los actuales procesos de creación de entornos urbanos y regionales cada vez más cualificados y atractivos, las piezas de composición de imágenes urbanas cobran nuevo valor al ser consideradas recursos a potenciar por sus diferencias entre pueblos y ciudades de un mismo territorio. Sin embargo, a la construcción real de estas imágenes le precedieron diferentes construcciones teóricas que, por más de cien años, prefiguraron las herramientas técnico- legales de procesos de ordenamiento y regulación del suelo adherentes a lógicas de unidad y homogeneización. El trabajo, inscripto en el programa de Planificación y Gestión Estratégica Urbana y Territorial (Res. CIC Nº 2002/99), recorre ese proceso a través de las principales herramientas del planeamiento urbano bonaerense, para introducir los desafíos que les presenta la reconstrucción del valor de las imágenes de sus pueblos y ciudades, en los actuales enfoques de planificación y gestión del desarrollo.
