Abstract

Within the conditions of the rapid development of international relations and business contacts, teaching foreign languages at non-linguistic departments of universities is considered as training in professionally oriented communication not only through mastering the linguistic mechanisms of language, but also through sociocultural ones. To generate communication in the context of a dialogue of cultures, certain knowledge of linguistic and cultural potential is required, allowing communicants to build a process of successful verbal communication, taking into account the national and cultural specifics of the behavior of communication participants.
