Abstract

The article on the background of production and evaluation of natural relations in the regions (assessment conducted earlier by the author and the results are published in scientific papers) and a review of the natural resource potential of the territory and its importance for Russia considered investment projects planned for implementation in the coming years, analyzed, grouped by type of activity and the preliminary assessment of the increase of anthropogenic impact, leading to a deterioration in the social, environmental, and, in consequence, it is possible and economic conditions in these areas. Since the study is based on statistical materials Rosstat Russia and territorial bodies of the Federal State Statistics Service the results reasonably lead to the conclusion that, as before, the priority given to resource-oriented activities (which is confirmed in the future orientation of the resource regions WFD) and insufficiently taken into account regional natural and socio-economic characteristics (active investment traditional activities, a small number or absence of innovative projects).
