Abstract

Данная статья посвящена нескольким способам образования слов-сленгизмов в западном виртуальном финансово-экономическом дискурсе. Выбранное направление является, несомненно, актуальным, так как сленговая лексика — это «особый язык», способный передать мысль глубоко, остро, эмоционально и лаконично, именно поэтому он очень активно употребляется в виртуальном экономическом дискурсе. Сленг является как одним из лингвистических инструментов влияния на читателя, так и нетривиальным способом передачи мысли автора. Автор статьи приводит примеры сленгизмов, образованных с помощью контаминации, аббревиации, сужения / расширения значения, чередования звуков. Актуальность работы заключается в том, что автор использовал аутентичные тексты и статьи для наглядного предоставления примеров.

The article is devoted to some kinds of formation of slang words in western financial internet discourse. It is common knowledge that slang terminologyis a special language layer which conveys the author’s thoughts in an expressive, laconic and unpredictable way. It should also be noted that slang is one of the linguistic tools that strongly affects the reader’s perception. The author of the article highlights the following means of slang-words formation: contamination, abbreviation, widening/narrowing of word meaning, sound interchange. The topicality of the article is explained by the extensive usage of authentic texts and extracts.
