Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the specific and nonspecific factors of psychotherapy that implements psychotherapeutic action and its clinical efficiency. Trends in the evolution of preferences and foreign factors in rends in the evolution of preferences and foreign factors in psychotherapy are being examined due to both the socio-economic context, a psychotherapy as a deeply integrated and demanded social practices, and the general positivist orientation studies that determined the huge amount of copyright approaches and psychotherapy development “in the crown”. Meanwhile, the Russian scientific psychology, that had an adverse socio-cultural context for its emergence as a full-fledged social practices evolved mainly “at the root”, creating the “ontologically valid” categorical basis for understanding and explaining the psychological reality within the cultural-historical theory. At the present stage quite favorable conditions for socio-cultural explication and formulation of specific factors of psychotherapy that would be based on the explanatory power of the cultural-historical theory and the activity approach have been developed.
