
Auxiliary materials are suggested to be the items of exposition specially made or obtained for the exposition that are not primary sources of knowledge and feelings about nature and society. They are not considered to have the whole set of characteristics, value or functions of museum items but help learn and expose them. In the article their structure is analyzed. With regard to lost material items and objects as well as non-material heritage the terms imitation and scientific reconstruction is considered.
В статье рассмотрена тема вспомогательных материалов в музейной экспозиции, их структура. Применительно к утраченным материальным предметам и объектам и нематериальному наследию исследуются термины «имитация» и «научная реконструкция».
